Should madoff spend his last days in prison, in isolation cell?

with bread and water only? as good punishment and retribution for his scamming and ruining thousands of people with his fraud? should his wife be tracked down and tossed in jail? it is obvious to anyone!! with any sense that others in his famliy helped in scheme!Should madoff spend his last days in prison, in isolation cell?
I say let him go.

Force him to make all the money he possibly can - and take it all away to pay his victims.

I figure, he can live on minimum wage the rest of his life - seems fair to me.Should madoff spend his last days in prison, in isolation cell?
No, he shouldn't get any special treatment.

If he's convicted, as is likely, he should be in the general prison population, and perhaps some of the other prisoners will teach him a well-deserved lesson or two.

If the wife aided and abetted the fraud by concealing and receiving assets, then they probably will prosecute her, also.

But ';house arrest'; in a super-luxury penthouse? That certainly is showing special treatment, and as such is unwarranted, and he should be put in jail, if he did indeed commit the biggest fraud in US history.
Although it's awful what Madoff did, even Nazi war criminals got more than bread and water in their cells.

I think he (and his wife) should be locked up with the key thrown away. They should be made to clean the prison every day, and eat oatmeal for breakfast, half a sandwich for lunch, and bread and stew for dinner.
Nah let a couple of the bulls in prison make him their B***ch. Yes she is involved in trying to hide money. Take it all and make her work at the local grocer or wal mart.
IN GENERAL POPULATION.
the Agony Booth.
