Depends on the amount of mental strength and control you have going in. Most people will be made weaker because all you have to think about is what's in your head - and after a while, that turns out not to be so good for most people. Does isolation make you stronger or weaker in your opinion?
Weaker.


You need the outside world to remain sane, and realise what life actually is and coming to terms with it, rather than hiding away.
it can enable you to stand more firmly on your own 2 feet, particularly at times of crisis, but it may also adversely affect you ability to cope in social situations, especially at times of crisis
Stronger, to my knowledge only one person has defeated death.
