schizophrenia is caused by a physical problem in the brain, you can actually see it in brain scans,
Schizoprhenia causes isolation.... it is one of the most textbook symptoms of schizophrenia... you can not cause yourself to have schizoprenia it is almost entirely biological.
Does schizophrenia cause isolation or does isolation cause schizophrenia?
research currently can not say which one comes first.
However, all my experience in the field says my bet is on the isolating yourself being the lead factor. take control of your life
i can't say that to my clients most of the time b/c ( i do now) b/c no ones wants you to say that to them. but i said it to my best friend when she was going through ';scizophrenia'; and practically forced her to get a job. she's now engaged, working, and very happy.
i've had all positive experiences with the people that i said that to. the ones that are led to believe its mental health and beyond their control, tend to do a LOT worse.
