Helping a patient who is in Isolation?

How do you think a patient in Isolation would feel, and what are some things a nurse could do to prevent the patient from feeling this way.Helping a patient who is in Isolation?
i was in isolation for about 2 weeks. i felt very 'stuck'

so a tv, books, magazines and stuff helped me keep my mind off it

is there any way to get fresh air in the room?

dvds, games and stuff would help a lot IF it's appropriate and allowed

hope that helpsHelping a patient who is in Isolation?
I am sure they would feel lonesome, and like they were undesirable.

A nurse could keep them company for awhile, and offer things to keep them busy throughout their day, and try to explain that its a disease, and that just because they have it doesnt mean they are not clean, or whatever.
