Swine Flu: If you are in an 'isolation ward' how do the medical staff treat you without becoming infected?

Just read the infected people from Falkirk are in an isolation ward and i was curious as to how they would be treated safely without passing it (Swine Flu) on.Swine Flu: If you are in an 'isolation ward' how do the medical staff treat you without becoming infected?
When nursing people in isolation we wear protective gowns, masks, gloves and hats. They are put on and removed each time you enter and leave the room.Swine Flu: If you are in an 'isolation ward' how do the medical staff treat you without becoming infected?
Hey Babe, they wear something called an Isolation Gown, along with a medical mask, surgical gloves, shoe covering and a Hospital bonnet to protect their heads. When leaving the Patients room they discard their protective wear in what's called a hazardous bag.

Proper and frequent hand washing is excersised as well.
They use gloves and face masks. They also protect themselves by wearing protective suits so the particles from the infection cannot reach them from inside the suit. Just to take extra precautions, they wash their hands excessively to get any germs off that could have possibly entered there attempts at cleanness.
they are isolated because no one can go near them, the public dont walk around with protective clothing and breathing masks on like the nurses attending to them..therefore they are still isolated from the people infected. :)
they use the same precautions as when they are treating people with TB (tuberculosis).

-lots of hand washing

-protective scrubs

-gloves

-masks
its called barrier nursing.they wear gowns, plastic gloves, masks and thoroughly scrub after nursing the patient.
i assume the medical team will wear surgical masks, which i assume would prevent it from being passed on.?
the nurses are coated in oil which apparently keeps infection away!!
they wear protective suits.
well they can get in these suits.... but they probably wouldnt do that....
haz mat suits and whatnot
