which one builds more muscle mass?
i currently workout with resistance bands, so if its compound, then what exercises should i do?

Isolation are for the icing on the cake.
Squats, deadlifts, military press, rows, bench press.
Eat
Rest
Repeat

if you make sure your diet is good and sufficient enough to allow the blind of good quality muscle mass then I would say COMPOUND exercises all the way. Resistance bands will more than likely not offer you enough of an overload on the muscles if you want to add muscle, you will need heavier resistance for that.
You can go wrong with the big 6 exercise for the whole body.
Bench Press
Squat
Dead lift
Military Press
Stiff legged Dead lifts
Chins
More compound exercises to build muscle mass. Also squats and dead lifts are a must if you want to build size. You should also take in a gram to a gram and a half of protein per pound of body weight a day if your training hard.
