What is thing about isolation?

I was wondering is there any relation with isolation and Christianity. I am trying to explore opinions about this topic... I have not seen much references about in the Bible or other books. Could you please help me with this project on finding the detail on this. Your opinion on the topic is appreciated as well. What is thing about isolation?
Yes, there is a distinct relationship between isolation and Christianity. There is a book, ';Isolation'; by Dr. Shelley Trebesch, that focuses on the literal and figurative isolation of leaders in the bible.

Focus on Isolation of Bible characters (Joseph, Moses, Elijah, the Israelites, Jesus, and Paul), and well known Christian leaders (Amy Carmichael, Samuel Brengle, Watchman Nee, case studies ';Kathy'; and ';Jim';, as well as herself). Highlights key features of these isolation experiences, and points out that they are ';never a waste of time';. Rather they form trust in God, bring intimacy with Him, and happen in preparation for further ministry.

As one example, we find Moses, who was a man of ';arrogance and self-confidence';, set aside for forty years in the land of Midian. But after this time, we discover ';a transformed Moses -- from one who confidently took matters into his own hands to a reluctant leader who learns how to trust God';. His character is transformed, he is prepared for ministry, he has acquired vital knowledge of the desert, and he has an increased intimacy with God.

Trebesch suggests six pointers for such times of isolation: be honest about the situation you find yourself in, remember what God has taught you so far, be aware that God routinely deals with leaders in this way, find a discerning mentor to walk with you, listen to the voice of God, and embrace the time of isolation with ';all that God has for you';.

Here's a link to that book review:

I don't have any idea about the Christan thing, but I do know a thing or two about isolation. You don't have to be in some room all alone or some deserted island to be isolated, truth is you can feel completely alone in a huge crowd. It's all to do with you, sometimes people feel isolated because they think no one understands them,or maybe they are just better off alone. So you see, isolation is completely up for interpretation.
Well i don't know much about isolation but, as far as christianity goes I know a lot. First the bible (which you can buy from just about anywhere or go to a nearby Christian church) is like the best resource you can get for Jesus and God. It explains that you can live for eternity with God bye giving your earthly life to Jesus and asking him into your heart as your Lord and Savior. And bye doing that you are going through Jesus to get to God spiritualy. Where after you die on earth you will live in forever happyness with God in Heaven. I hope this helps and that God gets a new child that gives his life to Christ. Godbless you!
I think living today is quite busy doing something which agitate your mind. It is good if you isolate yourself and allocate sometime to pray to God alone in silence. If you are Christian, I think they will agree with me. If you allocate sometime isolation for prayer, you will remain in peace while living the busy world.
I'm not really sure what you mean. But I have some idea (I think.)

I know that Jesus went off by himself many times in order to talk to God. He would specifically and intentionally go into the mountains or somewhere away from anybody else and be alone. Many Christians today will advise others to do it as well. It's not okay to completely cut yourself off from socialisation though.

But yes, it's always a good idea for a person, Christian or otherwise, to go off by him or herself and just have some quiet time alone. Whether they are talking to God, The Universe, Allah, or just themselves. You might call it meditation, and it's good for everyone.
if your isolated, you'd make a good christian because you wont have anything else to go off of other than that story book you call a Bible...if you go out and learn that the world isn't like they tell you at church, you might realize that religion in general is bull sh!t and you should just be happy with yourself and not worry about if ';god'; is watching.
the more you isolate, the more you appreciate being around people, the more you appreciate being around people the more good you want to do for people. the more good you do for people the more enemies you create. the more enemies you create leads to war. war kills and causes death. death leads to prayer and isolation. start over from the top, keep it simple sally.
the best thing about isolation is making new friends ;)
you will have to work some where else
