They are for lucid dreaming. When you dream in them, the dreams become as vivid, and as sensory, as when you are awake.I just ordered an isolation tank. Anyone have any experiences with these?
kildrphil- OMG! Isolation tanks are great!!!!! I live in Chicago and there is a place called Space Time Tanks where I go and use their Float (Isolation) Tanks. Using a float tank makes me so relaxed...an hour in a float tank feels like eight hours of GOOD sleep!
I don't know about using the tank for lucid dreaming...I use them for relaxation. However, I noticed that I ALWAYS fall asleep in the tank and have vivid dreams.

If you ARE rich, and ARE being serious, make sure you have someone to observe you! Otherwise it could be dangerous... don't want to drown... or jump up and hit your head and pass out....
