Where is Mental Isolation shown in ';Frankenstein'; and in ';Macbeth';?

From the top of my head

In Frankenstein both the monster and Frankenstein are mentally isolated. Frankenstein will not tell anyone about his creation and therefore causes the deaths of him family, friends and eventually Elizabeth. It is not until the end that he tells his tale to the authorities but that was never really accepted so his whole story is only really heard by Walton.

The monster isloates himself mentally in the sense that he relizes that he is a monster and no longer compares himself to that of humans. By thinking about this, he also isolates himself physically as well, moving to the artic where no humans would find him.

In Macbeth, mental isolation can be shown by MacBeth's hidden plans. He does not tell his wife about his plans to kill Banquo and does it with out her knowing.

hope this helped you some. CheersWhere is Mental Isolation shown in ';Frankenstein'; and in ';Macbeth';?
I can't find a quote because don't have hard copy but

in Frankenstein Victor was isolated due to his strange scientific beliefs that went against the nature such as death. He self isolated himself as slowly his Scientific practices made him believe he himself was above nature

Macbeth was isolated when his rule started to come to an end and he became obsessed with others plotting against him.Where is Mental Isolation shown in ';Frankenstein'; and in ';Macbeth';?
I think that a good example of mental isolation is the fact that Victor Frankenstein has to keep quiet for so long about his creation. He is unable to share what he has done as his intentions were considered noble.
im not sure
